Request from the client

Our client asked for a solution to register the volume in tanks. The tanks could be of many sorts of tanks in different locations.

“Yes, I want to register and track the level of the tanks in their location. Kan you create something to do this?” This question was the basis of the design of waTch™ LCS.

waTch™ LCS (What is it and how does it work?)

The Level Control System (LCS) is a unique new measurement system that was designed using the latest in digital technology. It can measure the liquid levels in the most common sorts of tanks.

With the LCS unit, 4 tanks can be connected. A maximum of 16 LCS units can be locally clustered to one LCS system. In this way, up to 64 tanks per location can be registered and watched.

With the PC program, LCS online, a connection can be made with an LCS system, either directly or via modem. In this way, the properties can be made or altered and the current data is available.

The PC program, LCS manager, administrates the client/location information and the data (also historic) per tank. Different rapports can be created, such as planning needs.

Possibilities

Different types of sensors can be connected with the LCS system, and includes air pressure compensation. Further, the system can control pumps and valves. See the specification here:
